STILL WOOZY - Live at The Garrison

Nothing would stop the crowd of free spirited and cheerful fans from witnessing the talented (and far too underrated) music producer, Still Woozy, take to the stage… not even a blistering snow storm. On Saturday night, the coolest and trendiest people in Toronto flocked to the Garrison on Dundas street to witness the Californian do what he does best. Following a dreamy and captivating set by 18 year old Victor, Sven Gamsky (Still Woozy) took to the stage to impress the room of excited and eager young adults. Still Woozy's funky and laid-back electronic music has struck big with his fans, having almost 2 million monthly listeners on Spotify. His sound being so unique and abstract, matching his presence on stage with ease and confidence. The combination between catchy melodies and synthy effects contributes to the inevitable success that Sven has been receiving thus far.

The Garrison's roof was covered in stars (literally - and figuratively!), as fans witnessed the electric and vibrant Still Woozy maneuver his way around the stage. Backed up by an equally as talented band, Still Woozy made sure to play songs new and old. Whether he was ripping on the guitar or dancing with energy and passion, it's safe to say that fans were in awe. Playing hits like "Cooks" and "Goodie Bag," fans were eager for hear what was in store for them next. Clearly knowing what would appeal to his audience, Still Woozy decided to cover another groovy artist - the infamous Canadian - Mac DeMarco.

Having a few minutes to spare at the end of the show, Sven, of Still Woozy asked the crowd what they wanted to hear again. As fans shouted song titles back at him, it's no surprise that he picked "Habit," which has racked up almost 3 million streams on Spotify. When you imagine an artist playing the same song twice in a live show, it's hard to imagine a crowd of energetic fans portraying the same sort of energy both times. However, this was just the case. Fans danced around with excitement as if they hadn't heard the catchy and groovy song before.

Having a small discography like Still Woozy's can be nerving..but don't be alarmed. Having already heard and witnessed his new songs live, fans can expect the same funky and chill sound that they've become accustomed too. Having really only released 6 songs, fans are highly anticipating what's next for Still Woozy. A live show like this is one that shouldn't be missed, as we expect Still Woozy to only blow up in 2019. Having the quirky character to match, it's no doubt that Still Woozy will be playing festivals and shows around the world in no time. Don't miss out on the opportunity to see the multi-talented music producer live...and you'll be in for a treat... or even a ‘Goodie Bag!’

Be sure to catch Still Woozy & Victor! on tour:
