Catfish and the Bottlemen - Live @ Rebel in Toronto

If you thought the city turned into an electric hurricane from the Toronto Raptors Parade on Monday, it was later in the evening when Catfish and the Bottlemen brought the eye of the storm to Toronto. Since 2014, the band has been at a near-constant touring and recording, keeping the energy and momentum well and alive for almost half a decade.

Less than two months ago the band released their second album, The Balance, which reached number 2 in the UK album charts. The album maintains the notorious indie-rock sound that hooked fans in from their past two award-winning, chart-topping, insanely-catchy, grotesquely-addicting albums. Playing songs from all three albums, the band knew exactly what the fans wanted, and they exceeded all of our expectations. Dynamic frontman, Van McCann captivated everyone in the audience with his powerful energy and rockstar swagger.

I challenge anyone to try to stay still during one of Catfish and the Bottlemen’s electrifying performances. Check out our photo's from the night below!
