David Kushner at Fortune Sound Club

Chicago singer David Kushner took the stage Saturday night at Fortune Sound Club with the help of Chance Peña. Fans lined up early, ready to get as close to the stage as they possibly could.

Kushner gained recognition from his song ‘Miserable Man’ going viral on Tiktok and continued to develop his craft with his debut album ‘Footprints I Found'; he opened the show with ‘Dead Man’ as fans cheered for his arrival. With every word he sings, his rich, baritone vocals hit you with an emotional punch. He is a clear fighter, sharing his darkest moments and inspiration before each song, touching on topics from his late grandfather who passed away due to Alzheimer’s, to his mental state while moving to a new city.

With his unparalleled talent and addicting voice, he left the crowd stunned, ending the night with the fan favourite ‘Daylight.’ Catch David Kushner as he continues down south to finish his ‘The Daylight’ Tour 2.0 in Seattle.
