Mötley Crüe and Def Leppard Rock Vancouver Back to the 80s

The world’s most iconic and celebrated rock legends hit the road together this summer for a co-headlining tour so massive that it could only be held in North America’s biggest stadiums. THE STADIUM TOUR featured MÖTLEY CRÜE, DEF LEPPARD, POISON and JOAN JETT & THE BLACKHEARTS; each band bringing their electrifying and unique stage shows. Produced by Live Nation, the summer tour sold over a million tickets, and did not disappoint.

Poison first came on stage with the energy that they described as being built up over the last two years. They paid homage to Vancouver and Canada with the flag draped over them, having ‘nothin but a good time’. A countdown was on before Def Leppard to took to the stage. They exploded with 'Take What You Want', to a standing ovation of adoring fans roaring the words back. All the classics, Photograph, Rock of Ages, Kick, and of course Pour Some Sugar, belted out with the unmistakeable swag of Def Leppard.

Mötley Crüe didn't let us down, blazing the stage open with Wild Side. The performance was classic Mötley, including the scantily clad backing singers. They did include The Dirt with excerpts of the film flashing on the screens. Storming through hit after hit with heavy riffs, banging bass and of course thundering drums; it was nothing short of electric.
